Description of the function

In the service technician position you are the one who maintains and repairs our machines. At PIM Machinery, no day is the same. The day starts with a joint cup of coffee and consultation for that day. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that the customer is provided with a properly working machine. These are machines that automatically pack and weigh the products.

These include the tasks:

– Perform preventive maintenance on machines.
– Diagnosing and solving technical malfunctions, both mechanical and electrical engineering.
– Carrying out repairs and replacement of defective parts.
– Installing and commissioning new machines at customers.
– Advising customers on the correct use, maintenance and optimization of our machines.
– Documenting work performed and maintaining service records.
– Collaborate with colleagues and internal teams to resolve technical issues and suggest improvements.
– Ensuring excellent customer satisfaction through professional and friendly contact with customers.

Job Requirements:

– A technical education at MBO level, preferably towards mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or similar.
– Experience with maintaining, repairing and installing machines in an industrial environment.
– Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems.
– Skill in interpreting technical drawings and schedules.
– Problem solving skills and an analytical mindset.
– Excellent communication skills and customer focus.
– Willingness to travel and work on location with customers.
– Mastery of the Dutch language, both orally and in writing and the English language is an advantage.
